I am not pushing Netflix, but enjoy spending time with my friend to watch it. I am watching a documentary on Moog that is fascinating.
One record I found at a thrift store said it was “Machine Music”. It was a record of music that was created by computers with Moog instruments. For the most part it was very asynchronous but sometimes there would be moments with the music came together and it was beautiful.
I would have loved to talk to the person who programmed those computers. I wonder how much effort it took to make that album? If you appreciated progressive music in the past like Emerson, Yes, Peter Gabriel, you have Moog to thank for much of that.
